Hello St. Philippians!

Today we celebrate The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which commemorates Mary’s visiting of her cousin, Elizabeth, during their unique pregnancies: Mary with Jesus and Elizabeth, in old age, with John the Baptist.

Father in heaven, by your grace the virgin mother of your incarnate Son was blessed in bearing him, but still more blessed in keeping your word: Grant us who honor the exaltation of her lowliness to follow the example of her devotion to your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Service Opportunities

DOK Triennial Service Project: Donations

On June 16th, Katie Rea and Anne Bush are attending the DOK Triennial in Louisville, KY. While there, they will be working with Uniting Partners for Women and Children, a drop center that has provided a multitude of services from legal aid to vaccinations to support groups for homeless women & children since July 2018. You can support this service project by donating any of the following items, which can be dropped off on the table in the Bookstore (located in Michaud Hall).

Hygiene Items Needed: Travel size lotion, Travel-size body wash/soap, Travel-size Shampoo & Conditioner, Toothbrushes & Toothpaste, Deodorant, Scrubs or washcloths

Food Items Needed: Individual Fruit /Applesauce cups w/spoon, Water bottles, Single-serving trail mix/nuts, Tuna & crackers w/spoon, Single-serving protein drink, protein bars, Beef jerky, snack sticks, Cheese & crackers, Peanut butter & crackers, Single serving Chips
